Cancer Council Victoria to host Relay for Life conference in Warrnambool

RELAY for Life committee members will gather in Warrnambool next week to share ideas and challenges for the fund-raising event.

Cancer Council Victoria is hosting a conference in the south-west for organisers of relays in Warrnambool, Corangamite, Colac-Otway, Hamilton, Bell-arine and Surf Coast.

The event, on Saturday June 15, is part of a state-wide Relay for Life training program held annually from June to August each year.

Cancer Council Victoria’s representatives will outline cancer support programs and provide training for volunteers to help with the success of their individual events.

“By inspiring each other to continue to grow the relay, local communities can continue to come together and support those touched by cancer,” co-ordinator Natalie Livsey said.
