Small-scale business owners particularly women in Kirambo Sector of Burera District are all praises for Business Development Centre (BDC) for helping them improve their social wellbeing.

Gloriose Yambabaje of Kirambo sector in Burera district testified that she now owns a Bakery factory with ten employees, an achievement she owes to Business Development Centre (BDC) entrepreneurship training program.

BDC prepares and nurtures entrepreneurs to start and grow businesses with ethical values.

It combines world-class entrepreneurial training with a comprehensive package of services to support and advise individuals in business.

“I changed from Small scale business and set up a bakery where I employ other people,” she narrates

Apart from the bakery, Yambabaje has built a commercial house where she operates from and rents five shops.

She reveals that this building generates enough income to cater for her 12 children’s’ needs.

After training by BDC, Yambabaje now helps other residents with project proposals that help them access bank loans.
