There is an evolving fashion since the return of long skirts fashion trend that Rwandan women have realized that long skirts are more comfortable than casual wear pants and they are definitely a fabulous alternative.

For you to dress in a long skirt and look fabulous, some things are to be taken into consideration otherwise you will look dowdy and out of place.

The first thing you have to give attention is Skirt Length; know what skirt- length you look good in whether it is midi-length to maxi-length and match it with your body shape as some look smashing in long denim skirt while others look great in long skirts with belts.

Tall, slender women usually look great in column skirts, pencil skirts, and circle skirts.

A person’s bone structure, head size, and weight are important; every woman must learn to adapt fashion to fit her body.

It is extremely important to wear a long skirt with a top that hits in the correct spot to give balance; a dark top with a long, dark skirt is almost a no-brainer.

Generally, a fitted top looks best with a long flowing skirt. If you are large all over, and you want a fitted top, you absolutely must have good undergarments or flab will bulge out in the wrong spots. If you don’t look good in a body-hugging top, try wearing a belt over a button-down shirt.
